Balloon Fiesta 2019 Itinerary
Our 2019 Balloon Fiesta Itinerary includes everything you want to see, do and experience at the 2019 Balloon Fiesta + more! Our tentative 2019 Itinerary is posted below. Our 2019 Welcome Packet, including the finalized Itinerary with meet-up times, locations, etc. will be emailed to all guests two weeks prior to your arrival in Albuquerque. We will also have all Guest Welcome Packets along with the Itinerary printed and waiting for each of our guests upon check in to the hotel.
Day 1, Friday, October 1, 2019:
Arrive & Check In to Hotel Andaluz: Check in time is 3pm. We recommend arriving no later than 4pm.
Tour Check In: After checking in to the hotel, come visit us at our Welcome Table in the lobby of Hotel Andaluz.
Welcome Happy Hour: Enjoy open bar cocktails and appetizers at our "Welcome to Albuquerque" Happy Hour, 6pm.
Day 2, Saturday, October 2, 2019:
“Grab N Go” Breakfast from Hotel Andaluz, then board our Luxury Coach Buses and head to Balloon Fiesta Park.
Balloon Fiesta Park: Depart Hotel Andaluz at 4:30am and arrive at Balloon Fiesta Park via the private Group Entrance. Our buses drop off within the Balloon Fiesta Grounds (no long walk to the entrance, no long wait to get in).
Hospitality Tent AM Session: Inside the Hospitality Tent, which is heated for your comfort, enjoy light snacks and refreshments. The Hospitality Tent is a great home base for your first Morning Ascension! 5:30am - 10am.
YOUR CHOICE:
Option 1: At 11am, you will have the option to board the bus and head back to Hotel Andaluz where you will a free afternoon. Board the bus to head to Balloon Fiesta Park for our evening session at Chasers Club at 4pm.
Option 2: Stay at Balloon Fiesta for the duration of the day. Shop, check out the exhibits, visit the Anderson-Abruzzo Balloon Museum, watch the events and balloons and enjoy the day! Balloon Fiesta Schedule of Events
Chaser’s Club PM Session: Our Evening Session at the exclusive Chaser’s Club includes guaranteed seating in a private open air patio directly next to the launch field, a traditional New Mexican dinner catered by Little Anita’s, drinks and dessert. A perfect location to watch the Evening Glow and Fireworks Show! 5pm - 9pm .
Hotel Andaluz: Board our buses at 9:30pm and head back to Hotel Andaluz for a good night’s rest.
Day 3, Sunday, October 3, 2019:
Balloon Fiesta Park: Depart Hotel Andaluz at 4:30am and arrive at Balloon Fiesta Park via the private Group Entrance. Our buses drop off within the Balloon Fiesta Grounds (no long walk to the entrance, no long wait to get in).
Chaser’s Club AM Session: Our Morning Session at the Chaser’s Club includes guaranteed seating in a private open air patio directly next to the launch field for premier Balloon Fiesta viewing, a traditional New Mexican breakfast catered by Little Anita’s, drinks and dessert. Watch the Morning Ascension in style and comfort! 5:30am - 10am.
Enjoy the Day at Balloon Fiesta Park: We will spend the remainder of the morning and early afternoon at Balloon Fiesta Park, where many events will be taking place, including the Fiesta of Wheels Car Show, the AIBF Chainsaw Carving Invitational, and much more! Check out the exhibits, the shops, and the Anderson-Abruzzo Balloon Museum.
Casa Rondeña Winery: Board our Buses at 2pm and head to Casa Rondeña Winery for a lovely afternoon of wine tasting. Walk the grounds, take pictures and enjoy the award winning wines. Wine tasting is included with visit.
Hotel Andaluz: Board our buses at 4:30pm and head back to Hotel Andaluz for a free evening. We recommend heading to Old Town, which is just 2 miles from Hotel Andaluz. This is a historic and enchanting area of Albuquerque with shops, art galleries and excellent New Mexican restaurants offering traditional Southwestern fare.
